“We were extremely pleased with the results from our first Hometown Yield Challenge in 2024. Supporting rural Canadian communities is something that is important for our team, so getting to do this challenge again is something we’re looking forward to for the 2025 season,” says Jesse Hamonic, Vice President & Country Head, Nutrien Ag Solutions Canada. “Last year, we got to put money towards some great community projects, such as school lunch programs, playground refurbishment, and community center funds. I’m excited to see the projects that our growers choose this year!”

Shelby and Martin will be overseeing the challenge, helping to provide the Sales Agronomists have everything needed to support their customers, and ensuring all the program’s milestones are met throughout the year.

“The Hometown Yield Challenge is a great way to see our proprietary products in action,” says Shelby. “Proven Seed’s shelf of canola varieties are integral to this challenge and those seeds pair really well with our nutritional products from the Loveland Products portfolio, AWAKEN and RADIATE. Both of these nutritionals have performed really well since rolling out to the market and it's a great feeling to see how the benefits of these products, such as promoting nutrient uptake and root development are adding value to our customers’ seasons. This challenge is a great opportunity to demonstrate how working with Nutrien Ag Solutions can help drive yield results without sacrificing field health.”
