The results are in! Announcing the 2024 Nutrien Ag Solutions Hometown Yield Challenge winners
We are excited to announce the winners of the 2024 Nutrien Ag Solutions Hometown Yield Challenge. Read more to find out whether a grower from your community is represented on the list!
Yield totals are in, and we have the list of growers who snagged the top five spots in the 2024 Nutrien Ag Solutions Hometown Yield Challenge. The growers on the list below were part of a group of 47 farming operations that participated in the 2024 contest. Now that the contest is complete, Nutrien Ag Solutions has awarded over $50,000 in prize money to the top five yielding growers to donate to a local organization of their choice.
As a reminder, the participating growers planted at least 80 acres of a Proven Seed hybrid of their choice, with phosphorus treated with Atlas XC. Throughout the season, field boundaries were mapped in Echelon, and Loveland Product applications, such as Awaken and Radiate, were applied. For more information about the Hometown Yield Challenge, check out the announcement article from last year.
“Awaken and Radiate are two of the foliar plant nutrition products available through the Loveland Products shelf while Atlas XC is part of Loveland’s fertilizer treatment portfolio. Each of these products aim to increase nutrient use efficiency while also contributing to a stronger overall plant health,” says Shelby LaRose, Crop Nutrition Product Manager for Nutrien Ag Solutions Canada. “Part of our goal with the Hometown Yield Challenge was to promote our proprietary products in a unique way while also adding in a bit of friendly competition. It was special to be able to orchestrate this program where we could also give back to the communities our growers live and work in as well.”
